I was pleasantly surprised to be informed by the reviewer that the pictures we uploaded were of this much rarer species, which wasn't even on my radar. Tanner feels confident he saw multiple individuals, and looking at our pictures, we have no silvereye pictures and only Ashy-bellied, but I have no reason to believe that all my pictures were not just of the same individual. I was not always birding in the exact same area as Tanner so it's possible he saw multiple individuals, and maybe even up to the 5 individuals which we previously reported as silvereyes. Either way, I can be confident there was at least one individual on the island at the time.
