Pale, ph. Getting borealis-y vibes. Very finely/lightly streaked belly band, lightly marked underwings, white extending well into throat, tail virtually unbanded, very light overall with some buff on the underside. I think Western would be more rufous below, would have more heavily marked underwings, less white in throat, a more heavily streaked/blotchier belly band, and a more heavily banded tail. This may be inseparable from the pale extreme of Western(?), but still seems a good candidate for borealis. UPDATE: This bird has been identified as a light Harlan's/Harlan's intergrade type bird, suggested to be eBirded as a Harlan's. Interestingly, I had a young light Harlan's-type bird no more than a mile away from this bird a couple of years ago.
