The second RSHA flew in across the park, following the path of the first RSHA, and both landed and challenged the mob of AMCR
観察結果の詳細
Odd behavior: a murder of AMCR plus a few FICR gathered around something and cawed excitedly for several minutes. I could not see their mobbing target in the trees, but whatevee it was, it was surrounded. Suddenly, an adult RSHA flew across the fields, screaming constantly, and landed in the trees above the crows. Then, about a minute later, a second RSHA flew in (same path, same screaming). They continued to call and scream while perched in the hardwoods....and the crows dispersed! I know there were two immature RSHA in this area last month, so I speculate that the crows had cornered a young RSHA, and the RSHA parents flew in and "rescued" their offspring from this mob.... I've never seen a hawk fly toward a murder of crows before. I taped some of the cries of the hawks and crows.
