Flew over about 13:40. I watched from the bridge as a huge raptor approached from over the houses on the south side of the park, pursued by a magpie and others. It was very dramatic with alarm calls from everyone. The eagle came very low and close and the size and wedge tail was clear. It circled several times then flew off in the direction of Gresswell. Bad phone photos may follow.
