Started the day ripping through the Strait munching on ‘nagan pears, hyping ourselves up for a stake out… Only to quickly learn that this absolute beaut was down for the cause. The bird was seen behind the aquatic centre making moves through the trees all the way to the north end of the red fenced in area. Cruising back and forth munching on larval inverts. Strong wheatear vibes with its white arse. Black upper tail covs, overall drab but cheery attitude. Covert spots = 1st winter bird. Liferrrrrrrrr 🤙🏽
