LIFER!! resident of this area, inhabits <50m section of the boardwalk, probably a nesting cavity nearby adn its cavity is there. Dd was walking faster than me and saw it first, got phone pics from up close, and when I reached the area the bird was on the boardwalk calling and flitting about in branches nearby, so cute!! reacted to pishing by flying past me and away didnt really come up close. ID by call and appearance. They’re probably only this tame at scenic areas with tourists just like the siberian chipmunk who are used to being fed
