Stopped by the Tidal Basin briefly after the CBC gathering at The Roost. A couple flocks of gulls were in the basin a bit closer to the NW parking lot such that I could get some okay looks and photos, despite the glare from the sun at that time. This gull was noticeably lighter than the American herring gulls around it, with mostly white primaries and a smaller black bill. This appeared to me to be a kumlieni Iceland gull but possibly a different individual from the one(s) reported earlier that day and a few mornings later on December 22.
