Really cool CBC bird. Noticed them as we were driving by and figured trumpeter then when we got to the trail that’s very distantly from the pond we noticed that they did not seem that much bigger than the Canadas in the pond. After we finished the trail we came back on the side of the road to see them better and again had a great size comparison to all the geese species in the pond. We also got a good look at the bill that looked more like a U than the V of a trumpeter or canvasback. Also saw the little patch of yellow on the lore. Have a couple decent photos that show them well. (38.40064, -96.51239) seen in this pond throughout the morning.
