First December record for Crowley or Otero counties. A masterclass in CCLO ID - initially picked up by Archer (kudos!) calling with the HOLA flock, before eventually seen circling the mudflat and flashing its bright mostly white tail, and settling down on the mudflat for just a few seconds (leaving before pics could be taken). Surprisingly, more common than LALO in the county, though very rare in December anywhere north of Baca.
