Continuing breeding plumage black and white checkered patterned loon with striped throat and chest, and solid green neck band. Dark-red eyes and heavy straight bill COLO stayed only 2- 3mins. on surface each time and was diving constantly. Always popped up few yards forward. Eventually I was able to predict where the loon would pop up timing intervals. It was a fun challenge to get videos. Moved from one end to another this way and repeated the process.
