Paler blue jay with greyish-brown saddle on back, slight white eyebrow, black cheek, pale breast, long tail. Out of focus but diagnostic photos. Quiet. With a Steller’s jay in the riparian area E of the tennis courts / ropes course. Irruption year into the lowlands. They’ve been seen higher and lower in the watershed, but I think it’s new for this site! Edit: I see Joe A had a pair in Canyon Ranch this Oct.
