*Minimum possible count, could have been as many as six. Amazing, hard to describe without expletives. Put on an amazing show circling, diving, stooping, perching in the trees on the hill, and squabbling with each other and the bald eagles. At one point we had three simultaneously, and then turned around and saw a fourth across the road. When in a stooped dive, even for just a short distance, they reached incredible, blazing speeds. Truly an unforgettable birding experience. First a flyover immature, here (41.7079612, -73.5611322) Multiples in and over the hills here (41.7177599, -73.5541746 Then a spectacular low flyover on the exit road, sparring with a red-tail.
