Another brief glimpse of the bird in the oak grove near the east restroom building allowed a ten-frame burst of the Nikon P950. As the bird moved rapidly among leaves, I caught a glimpse of the red on it, but the only frames showing most of the body had best focus on the twig in front of the bird. For about three minutes, I tried following the sporadic movements in the tree as the bird checked for edibles, but mostly I saw shaking leaves as the bird hopped from twig to twig.
