観察結果の詳細

First seen swimming and bathing in Nile’s Pond in the open water nearest Brace Cove. Red bill and black ear patch immediately noticed so I started to photograph. For a short while it was next to a Ring Billed Gull giving a good size comparison. Eventually the Black Headed Gull flew a short distance and was preening on the ice near other gulls where I had good looks at the red legs. Unfortunately I lost track of it while texting others about the bird. I spent another 30-45 minutes trying unsuccessfully to relocate.
