When I was standing near the boat launch, all of the ducks nearby took off flying, because a juvenile eagle had flown in and landed on a light pole near the small, tan McKinley Marina building at the end of the pier. After being harassed by a crow and a gull, the eagle took off and flew around the marina area for a few minutes before landing on the rock break wall with the triangular #6 at the northwest end. While this was happening, I saw another juvenile eagle flying nearby (I was able to get one perched and one flying in the same photo).
