lifer!!!!!!!! one of my target species for today the other being siberian SP, read that other poeple have been seeing this species along the shore between 一号桥 and 日出剧场 and havent seen much reports of them being in the park so wasn't expectign them here and thought siberian SP would be the more likely lifer, didnt see it at first looking south from the north as they were on the other side of the island 22.51545035013378, 113.94528842066538 exactly only when I went to about 22.515207898043485, 113.94597737116749 viewing them from an angle did I see two gray shorebirds relatively plain but rather sleek with long bills and plain gray on the bottom with some faint barring, much larger than cosa - tattlers!!! always thought of this as some mysterious shorebird and imagined them to be only found on rocky shorelines but here they are roosting with golden plovers! rather unremarkable in person tbh, one was preening, but still a very lucky encounter
