Gus, the grus grus, continues, foraging in the usual field. Surprisingly alone at this time. Close to the road, but a bit closer to the farm structures. Thanks to Ben H for the scope view and thanks to Bill W for getting the word out on this awesome bird. Crane with dark cap down into the face and chin and further down the neck. Contrasting white cheek. Slight bustle.
