(left) Presumed 3rd cycle AHGU. I believe Thayer's would not have so much white in the tail feathers; (right) Nearly black tips to primaries indicates 1st cycle Thayer's, but Kumlien's Iceland gull cannot be ruled out. The bill looks a little bulbous, but it's snow.

Modest count/-sometimes they’re spooked and they’re all in the air and it looks like there could easily be at least 200 or more— i’m adding to gull sp. because I am uncertain how many are Iceland (Thayer’s).
