Just as I arrived at the top of the hill, it flew north and dipped out of sight behind cottonwoods. It had been soaring (which I missed) and was pointed out by others, including Konstantin and Ryan O. I traveled down the hill to search behind the cottonwoods with no luck. The rarity was relocated by Ryan - perched at NW edge of park. Was able to get ID pics and good views (thanks Ryan!) before it was flushed by bikers and barking dogs. Lifer! Update: Juvenile (based on Ryan's report).
