Amazingly close views of this very beautiful and special bird. 3rd (?) record for Jeju. First seen by two local Jeju birders early in the morning, likely arrived overnight because was not present yesterday. Small shorebird with very obvious spoon shaped bill. Younger individual (I think) with no bands on the legs. Great photos and peaceful experience. Hope this fella makes it off safely and lives a long and healthy life.
