Without a doubt the rarest bird of the day, and a huge shock as I crested the hill of the Golf Course Pond, a big flock of elegantly proportioned, white-flashing Hardheads burst up and bombed quickly away into the distance... but not without being bagged for photos and thoroughly enjoyed!!
