*High count. Conservative estimate with multiple large groups flying over high, heading south as I walked south. Once I arrived to the south end of the park, I saw more than 200 at one time, foraging eagerly on the ground, including in an area where a controlled burn was recently conducted. During my time photographing this group (peak time was 8:45-9:45 AM, with strong W NW winds), several more flocks flew over the slip towards Steelworkers and Cal Park).
