***mega, incredible find by Ann Reichelderfer and friend yesterday morning before the rain, and refound here - two and a half miles away - by others in the evening; continuing here today. Viewed from the main parking lot, it mostly perched in a bare tree but twice took to wing and put on an incredible show hover-hunting over the grasslands. Caught and ate two voles as we watched. Amazing - life bird for our whole group. Photos
