Continues from Nov 27, on south side of island slough. 40 minutes later observed across lawn to south, high in eucs lining Chevron gas storage property. Small Empid with compact body plan and overall plumage area contrasts are fairly high. Big head, short tailed look, long primary extension; bill short and narrow, dark above, mostly orangish below; face obviously grayer than olive body, white eyering with slightest projection to rear; white wingbars show high contrast with darker wing panel; throat grayish-white; underparts vested dusky at shoulders, otherwise tinged pale yellow . Silent.
