1st year/female. Very pale auriculars; very faint malar/mustache stripe; pale head and upperparts; relatively wide (wider than Taiga) pale dorsal tail bands; rufous streaking on undersides (opposed to darker brown in Taiga). Also seems more heavily spotted on uppers than Taiga, with pale edging on some of the secondaries.
