4 of the birds were pecking under the trees on the near side of the golf course, 2 were out in the open fairway, and one was off to the left by the concrete path. I had been photographing them when 5 myna birds swooped over diving at the three groups of birds and all 7 francolins ran across the golf course retreating under the far bushes as shown in the photograph.
