3 in far distant lagoon, 1 near us - came out of the reeds in front of us and walked up the grass lawn into an Eremophila bush where it stayed until someone walked by when it came out walked back down the grassy slope to the base of a big old palm tree where it pecked around, until finally going back into the rushes/sedges.
