Calling by 6:00 a.m. (this may have been the first point I could hear the calls due to winds). Calling continued to end of checklist when I left the area after 6:30 a.m (to avoid disturbing, especially considering harsh weather). Calls moving at times, including while adult was hunting. About 10 minutes after start of calling, observed adult perched in tree, appearing to be not overly intent on hunting. Occasionally observed turning on the limb, and at one point bowing. About a minute later, observed stretching wings and then a few seconds later took a very "nonchalant" dive towards utility right of way of the meadow. Did not observe adult after this point. Calls somewhat similar to female calls I have recorded from a different breeding female in the park, although taking over the entire observation period, other calls seemed consistent with the juvenile that is still being observed here. As the juveniles vocally abilities have been developing over the past few weeks, getting harder to tell at times. From recordings seems possible this may have been the adult female begging to the male in some type of pre-breeding season activity. Observed a similar scenario on 11-30-25 in North Field.
