観察結果の詳細

Thought it was an ibis. All white. Legs, head, black tips, and bill color not noted due to distance. Seen flying south over Waitaha Cove, then circle a couple of times and disappear when I wrote to the WhatsApp group about the sighting. No camera on hand. Deep flapping and rounded hand noticed, as well as hunched-back appearance in flight. Short tail barely registered in my memory. Thanks to Annemieke for suggestion.
