The photo is of the second of the two Cormorants hanging out near Spruce Island. This one flew over the ice instead of walking.
観察結果の詳細
1 chose to walk over the ice from the marina to open water at Spruce Island. They walked steadily without slipping and using their tail for balance. They only stopped twice to look around studying the ice, deciding where the water was open. While i was watching, there didn't appear to be any open water for them to have come up by the marina, so i am not sure how much more they actually walked on the ice but it is about 200m from the marina to Spruce Island.
