Continuing near parking lot by gate, reported by Kirsten H. this morning. Seen with Dorothy Johnson, on small mud island about 75' north of road. Plover slightly larger than Killdeer seen nearby, with distinct golden edges on back feathers (with some white spotting) creating a golden cast on back. Light gray-brown underwings, yellow-buff cheeks, whitish supercilium, some yellow-buff wash on neck in front, otherwise mottled brownish on neck, lighter and more diffuse mottling on breast and flanks, white undertail. Coloration appears more consistent with PAGP. Primary extension appears to me to be relatively short, consistent with PAGP. Digiscope photos uploaded.
