Continuing, ( Matt Sadowski,11/18), exact location as seen previously- north west of the north cove, it was the nearest bird to shore. Brownish with obvious white wing patch, sketchy white on the cheek. At first seen with 2 Surf scoters, soon joined by many more. Boats were continuously going by and causing them to shift around, at one point flying off. We watched the White-winged make a wide circle as if it was flying off, but it came back in near to shore again. Photos.
