Continuing. In trees surrounding southern part of lawn at (40.8405, -73.9345), south of baseball field. Also flew down to bathe in a puddle on a small rock outcropping in the middle of this lawn on two occasions. Associating with the Nashville Warbler. When I arrived, around 10 other birders were already watching it. It was foraging in locust and elm trees, both of which still had green leaves. It visited sapsucker wells in these trees and foraged among the foliage. It also visited the leafless apple trees in the center of this lawn and seemed to be doing a bit of foraging there, in addition to staging there and preening between baths. Nice views, especially when it flew down to bathe. Also heard giving familiar chip call, similar to that of Black-throated Green. Found two days ago by Augie Kramer. No prior New York County records in eBird or in New York State Avian Records Committee database (https://nybirds.org/NYSARC/HistData/TOWA.htm), but Augie's comments mention a record from 1963.
