Finches with conical bills and no streaking on undertail. Males raspberry coloured head and breast that goes into back. Females coarsely streaked with prominent whitish eyebrow. Foraging in thicket whilst singing and calling often. Didn't know there was 6 until they flew out of thicket, across the road and into gulley at switchbacks at km 4.5.
