Found at Heron's Head 2 days ago by Ben Dudek, Teresa Ely, and Maggie Brown, spent most of yesterday at this site. As I walked to the water's edge, I spotted the bird in flight heading north. It took a while (maybe it was diving a lot?) but eventually I obtained a few photos as it floated in the mouth of Islais Creek to the north of the marsh area.
