観察結果の詳細

2 huge flocks flew by, long lines, close to water. Estimated by 50s as they flew by. First 900, second 1250. As I counted, I was not able to tell the species apart. There were a small number of buffleheads in the second group, but virtually all the birds had the sleek form of mergansers. These are the only individuals I photographed.
