2 birds photographed. Two sets of tracks initially found heading in a southerly direction (6:50am) as well as a scat nearby. Two birds later seen crossing back in a northerly direction (7:53am). Its likely there is an active mound nearby and they had just been laying an egg based on behaviour, time of day and season. An inactive mound was found approximately 1km away and appears to have been tagged (likely by the Malleefowl Recovery Group). Photos 1,3,and 4 are of the same bird, photo 2 of the second bird.
