Large. Running in shallow water. Hoped to get closer. It flew way before we got near. Scope views and photos and video but probably not ID worthy. After it flew, it landed briefly near a Great Egret. It was quite large like the egret, but was also clearly a little bit smaller/shorter. Edit- 13 November 2025- added our 4 photos in flight. Unable to add our video since we do not have the access level. I think the photos are more helpful than originally thought. These eliminate Tricolored partly due to no massive white of tricolored. Paler than Little Blue and also shows pale stripe on underwing such as described in Sibley V2 app. Larger than Little Blue.
