Found by Ted Gilliland this morning- sitting politely under the bridge. Immature, not diving as frequently as when Ted found it this morning; very little yellow on bill and no white at all perceptible on the head. As Ted pointed out (at least viva voce if not in his own description), the shape of the head and the angle formed by the culmen and forehead seemed to shift depending on how much time the bird was under water - sometimes a steep angle as in the canonical BAGO compared with COGO, sometimes that angle was more of a slope. Crazy that probably most of the students have now seen Barrow's in Hampshire County and not Common (and possibly have only seen Barrow's, anywhere)
