We were not able to go to the known lek so we inquired with a local rancher where might be a good place to observe GPCH displaying. He was kind enough to allow us to visit his property the next morning and told us exactly where to find a lek. We were not disappointed. Great views of the birds on both sides of the car observed at close range displaying and fighting. They were disturbed by a coyote that came through the lek at one point but things re-started after the coyote left.
