According to Suzanne Shoemaker of the Owl Moon Raptor Center, this wild bird was found yesterday in a garage in Ellicott City, presumably having made a mistake while migrating south. Owl Moon RC rescued the owl and, finding it sound and healthy, released it as part of the festival activities at 4pm into a wooded area, where one fervently hopes it will resume a safe journey southward.
