Fernando pointed out these flyover parrotlets, which we barely saw at all. Later on down the road, he heard them calling again, but this time sounding like they were in a tree. After maybe 15 minutes of scanning the canopy, he found one feeding on a large fig fruit. He said this maybe only the 4th or 5th he’d ever seen this species perched! Very lucky!
