Continuing bird in atrocious conditions in garden hedging/briars to the left of house. TK had bird as I walked to him from car in driving rain but it dropped into hedging by the time I got there. It did not emerge again for another 64 minutes of wind-swept rain. Came out on to perch in slightly calmer misty rain while I was in the back field looking for it. TK hollered my name and I ran around and got it. Stayed on perch for 7 minutes and dropped back into centre of hedge. Not seen again. Lifer!
