観察結果の詳細
! Field ID of Pomarine subject to photo confirmation. Lighter morph juvenile. On the water head shape seemed gull-like and bill was stout and sharply bicolored. In flight wings were broad and showed significant underwing flash. Wingspan seemed slightly larger than RBGU in direct comparison. Undertail covert barring seemed white-based, not buffy. Flight quite powerful and aggressive. Photos and digiscopes TBA. 11/17 update, additional features supporting Pom ID (based on photos by Ethan, Cole, Isaac, and Archer) Underwing coverts especially the axillaries appear neatly barred, not wavy as in Parasitic Underwing barring is very prominent and makes the wings look paler than the body Bases of underwing primary coverts whitish, forming "double flash" Shape of central tail feathers not entirely obvious but seem blunter/shorter than expected on Parasitic Nape perhaps not as pale as Parasitic; bird lacks a dark-capped effect
