Spotted perched quietly in a bush right above the trail. Remained in the same spot for a minute or two while I was focused on a Lizard-Cuckoo hopping in a nearby bush. As a result, I didn’t pay much attention to this individual and only snapped a few photos, assuming it was a Mangrove Cuckoo. Later, while checking the pictures at home, I noticed the clean white chest and neck, rufous tones in the wings, and the absence of a contrasting facial mask. Turned out to be a fourth unexpected lifer on the same walk!
