Juv with very pale and sharp supercilium, small bill, dark legs, not overall golden-tinged like Pacific Golden-Plover. Golden flecking on back shone when sun came out, but otherwise very subtle while overcast. Four primaries extending beyond tertials (thanks Matt). Impression at a distance was of a small dark brown plover with pale face and small bill. Size about 70% of Black-bellied Plover. Spotted by Ted Keyel, and seen well over 3 hours with many observers.
