Facing away from me on an islet, ~120m SE of golf course with a mixed flock of shorebirds. Dark blue/grey scalloping on back, long decurved bicoloured bill, lightish legs. Standing apart from warmer-coloured, plainer Dunlin; of a similar size. In flight, wide white wingstripe, which trailed off the edge of the wing close to the body, merging with white outer rump/tail feathers. Record photos obtained, but conditions were poor and the birds were more distant that I would have preferred.
