Had clear extended views at close range as the bird foraged in brushy treeline between harvested hay and cornfields. Managed some poor iPhone photos through binoculars. Distinctive: small, vireo-sized songbird with thick, straight bill; bright yellow spectacles on whitish gray head and face, fading to olive green back and bright yellow sides; and two bold wing bars. Foraging low in brushy/weedy area, occasionally popping up into small trees in response to pishing.
