We were on Puffer Pond Trail and I had stopped to take pictures of some nuthatches. Suddenly, two eagles flew down from high above and through the tree branches, right in front of us: they must have been perched together on the treetops above our heads. The eagles, both adults and probably a pair, flew over the pond and started gaining altitude flying in wide circles (pics).
