観察結果の詳細

Originally a flyby with 2 Semipalmated Plovers at tidal pond, I then reconnected with it alongside jetty near pond inlet (it and other shorebirds were feeding along sand/mud on south side of jetty). Walking around with funny looking, slowish, measured steps as it picked small insects off the mud, sand, and rock surfaces. The phalarope was incredibly tame as it fed and I ended up spending maybe 15 minutes photographing it (boc pics for now).
